Book Donation to UP Mindanao

Through the efforts of a UPAAGC volunteer team made up of Dr. Benito Kalaw, a professor at Wright College and current UPAAGC Director, Carol Ediza-Marin and her husband Cecil, UPAAGC President Grace Villamora and her husband Win, a shipment of donated books was sent to UP Mindanao on March 19, 2010. Carol and Cecil took care of the packing and inventory of the books. The donated books and teaching aids were in excellent condition and ran the gamut from science and math to literature and essay-writing. For those interested, the complete list can be viewed here.

On Wednesday, May 24, Dr. Sylvia ("Beng") B. Concepcion, Professor and Dean of the School of Management at UP Mindanao, reported that the shipment had been received. As luck would have it, the books arrived at an opportune time for the opening of the school year.
