Recapping an extraordinary month at Next DLPMay 2024 has been a remarkable month for Next DLP, showcasing significant achievements and advancements in the cybersecurity landscape.

Among the noteworthy highlights is the company’s impressive performance at the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, where it clinched three prestigious titles. Additionally, its Reveal platform has made significant strides by becoming available on the Google Cloud Marketplace, further solidifying its position as a leader in data protection and insider risk management.

Next DLP takes home triple win at Cybersecurity Excellence Awards 2024

On 20 May 2024, Next DLP scored a veritable hat trick at the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. The annual competition awarded both Next and its Reveal Platform as winners in the Best DLP Solution, Best Insider Threat Solution and Best Cybersecurity Startup categories.

“Next DLP is thrilled to have been named a winner across three categories at the 2024 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards,” said Connie Stack, CEO, Next DLP. “This honour is a testament not only to Next’s innovative, high-quality solutions but also reflects the unwavering dedication and excellence of our entire team.”

Next’s Reveal Platform, awarded Best DLP Solution and Best Insider Threat Solution, provides a unified solution for insider risk, data protection and cloud security. It is designed for easy deployment and integration and delivers risk insights and DLP controls for managed and unmanaged endpoints, mobile devices and cloud applications. By integrating generative AI and advanced machine learning for improving monitoring, protection and data control, it can support customers in varied IT landscapes.

With over 600 entries across more than 300 categories, the awards are highly competitive

Next’s commitment to excellence is further demonstrated in its victory in the Best Cybersecurity Startup category. This award highlights the company’s continuous growth and significant impact on the industry, emphasising its ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers across various sectors. As Next continues to innovate and expand, it remains committed to providing comprehensive solutions that empower organisations to protect their most valuable data and assets.

“We congratulate Next on being recognised as an award winner in the Best Insider Threat Solution, Best DLP Solution and Best Cybersecurity Startup categories of the 2024 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards,” said Holger Schulze, CEO of Cybersecurity Insiders and founder of the 600 000-member Information Security Community on LinkedIn, which organised the ninth annual Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. “With over 600 entries across more than 300 categories, the awards are highly competitive. Your achievement reflects an outstanding commitment to the core principles of excellence, innovation and leadership in cybersecurity.”

Each year, the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards recognises companies, products and professionals that demonstrate excellence, innovation and leadership in information security.

Next DLP brings industry-leading data protection to Google Cloud Marketplace

On 29 May 2024, Next DLP announced that its Reveal platform is now available on Google Cloud Marketplace.

With the growing utilisation of personal mobile devices and cloud services to access, store and collaborate on company data, it is increasingly critical for organisations to have full visibility into data usage, regardless of how it was accessed, and the controls required to protect it from exfiltration. This partnership with Google Cloud gives customers access to a unified data loss prevention, insider risk management and cloud data security platform, developed for how people work today.

Stack said: “The presence of the Reveal Platform on Google Cloud Marketplace makes advanced data protection readily accessible to businesses globally. This collaboration empowers joint customers to get the most out of their Google Cloud services, while protecting intellectual property and sensitive data, the lifeblood of today’s organisations.”

Searce, a leading cloud computing solutions and technology services provider, and a Google Cloud Premier Partner, expressed their support for this significant milestone. “The availability of Next DLP’s Reveal Platform on the Google Cloud Marketplace is a fantastic development,” said Roman Sorocan, Director of cloud consulting at Searce. “It makes advanced data protection solutions readily accessible, enabling companies to quickly enhance their security strategies with top-end solutions.”

Unlike legacy data protection solutions, Reveal does not require extensive IT infrastructure, pre-built policies or multiple agents. Instead, it utilises machine learning to instantly identify risks, including malicious insider behaviour. Reveal offers comprehensive visibility across all data egress points — ranging from managed endpoints to unmanaged mobile devices and even USB drives and printers. Its capabilities extend across popular SaaS applications, including Slack, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
