We would like to share with you U.P. President Alfredo E. Pascual's mission of "transforming the University of the Philippines into a premier research organization." (January 4, 2012). One of the areas he strongly recommends is the study of climate change, and he cited the U.P. Center for Integrative Studies, which will conduct a system-wide study of areas with research needs early this year.
